How to clean your Ceramic Water Filter

Instructions:

How to clean the Stefani Ceramic Water Filter
1. Remove all fittings from your “It’s Only Natural” unit (Tap, Lid, and Float).

2. Half-fill two large plastic buckets with clean water and add 2-5 level teaspoons of Citric Acid to each bucket (quantity depends on the severity of the condition of your purifier) and stir to dissolve.

3. Immerse top and bottom sections in separate buckets, ensuring they are completely covered with the solution, and leave for 12 hours.

4. After 12 hours, remove each section from the solution and wipe over thoroughly with a clean sponge (do not use anything abrasive). Rinse under running water and then re-soak for 4 hours in clean water, changing the water as frequently as possible.

5. Remove from water. Re-fit tap, candle ad float and once again enjoy pure fresh water.

6. Tip: To maintain your purifier in pristine condition, wipe over with a small amount of undiluted Sunlight Liquid on a weekly basis, using a clean dry cloth or sponge (on the outside surfaces only). After a period of time the natural evaporation of salts starts to build up on the outside of the top chamber. With proper care, these ceramic units provide cool filtered water for many years.

WARNING Keep out of reach of children and animals. Do not swallow. Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands thoroughly after use.

NB: DO NOT TREAT THE UNIT IN ENAMEL CONTAINERS OR YOUR BATH.
